Apply for the MARCOMM Team

    • Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications , be responsible for the creation of photo and video media, as well as social media management, for all TWUSA Council requirements as part of the Marketing and Communications Department. This shall include, but is not limited to:

      • Along with the Director of Marketing and Communications, co-managing an online presence through social media

      • Photography and videography for:

        • Social media posts

        • “Hype” videos and event promo videos

    • While maintaining creative control, work closely with the Events Team members in advertising for upcoming TWUSA events.

    • In the Spring semester of the current term in office, undertake the training of the newly appointed Media Coordinator, who shall, upon being appointed, serve as Assistant Media Coordinator until the completion of the academic year.

    • Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications, be responsible for the creation of advertising and graphics for all TWUSA Council requirements as part of the Marketing and Communications Department. This shall include, but is not limited to:

      • Graphic design:

        • Posters promoting:

          • General TWUSA Events

          • Faculty Representative Events

          • TWUSA Initiatives

          • TWUSA Applications

        • Other social media infographics requiring graphic design wor

        • TWUSA Graphics (logo/theme)

        • Business Cards

        • TWUSA Merchandise

    • While maintaining creative control, work closely with the Events Team in advertising for upcoming TWUSA events.

    • In the Spring semester of the current term in office, undertake the training of the newly appointed Design Coordinator, who shall, upon being appointed, serve as Assistant Design Coordinator until the completion of the academic year.

    • Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications, be responsible for the creation of advertising and graphics for all TWUSA Council requirements as part of the Markeing and Communications Department. This shall include, but is not limited to:

      • Managing the Trinity Western University Student Association:

        • Website

        • Online Store

        • Calendar

    • In the Spring semester of the current term in office, undertake the training of the newly appointed Technical Design Coordinator, who shall, upon being appointed, serve as Assistant Technical Design Coordinator until the completion of the academic year.

  • The Leadership Grant for a MARCOMM Coordinator is $2800

    • Appointed Officers must have a minimum career GPA of 2.25 not including the incomplete current semester, or a minimum term GPA in the previous two (2) semesters of 2.50, not including the incomplete current semester.

    • All Ad Hoc Positions must have a minimum career GPA of 2.00 not including the incomplete current semester, or a minimum term GPA in the previous two (2) semesters of 2.25, not including the incomplete current semester but does include the semester immediately previous and the one immediately before that.

    • Students who have completed one (1) semester at Trinity Western University and who have less than 20 credit (hours) not including the incomplete current semester are eligible to run or apply for a role, for which they meet all other qualifications except the normal academic qualifications, with a minimum term GPA of 2.0 from their first semester

    • All candidates and those appointed must be members of the Student Association as outlined in Article II.A. of the Constitution.

    • No TWUSA Council members may hold another official student leadership role, including a role on TWUSA Senate, subject to appeal to the TWUSA Senate.
